Description
The dovecote located in the yard behind The Manor House dates from the 13th to 14th century. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble with dressed flush quoins and features a triple Roman tile roof. The building has two storeys, with a plank door opening on the right side of the first floor and a door opening on the left side of the ground floor, although the ground floor door was missing during the re-survey in October 1984. Inside, there are niches for birds on all four walls, and the remains of a two-bay cruck roof can be seen.
