Barn over cartshed with attached wings including cowshed on the right and granary on left forming 3 sides of a rectanguler fold yard. Dated 1867. Barn, red sandstone random rubble with brick and white limestone dressings, bitumen covered slate roof, coped verges with kneelers and weathervane on right gable end. Two storeys, over arcaded basement built into the hill side so there is groundfloor access to barn from rear, 5 bays, depressed brick arches resting on bulbous white limestone cushion caps, masonry piers, centre bay blocked below double doors of barn, tablet dated 1867. Barn has ventilation slits. Single storey 2 bay cartshed to right, slate roof with similar arcade, the next 2 bays set slightly back have had an RSJ inserted. Cow house, single storey red sandstone random rubble, bitumen covered slate roof, joins at right angles. To left of barn 2- storey L-shaped block with a door and window above in gabled end. Attached 2 bay, single storey lean-to in angle with corrugated iron roof. An impressive barn resting on an unusually handsome arcade.
