Description
The coach house, located about 20 meters north-east of Yeabridge House, dates from the late 19th to early 19th century. It is constructed from roughly cut and squared ham stone, with ashlar dressings, and features a hipped Welsh slate roof over a stone slate base course, along with a brick chimney stack. The building has two storeys and four bays on the south-east elevation. It includes chamfer-mullioned windows set in chamfered recesses, with labels, and 2-light small-pane casements. There are plain doorways to the left of the first bay and to the right of the fourth bay, while between the second and third bays is a central elliptical-arched opening with a pair of boarded doors. A loft door is located in the east gable, and a single-storey stable wing extends northwards from the north-east corner. The interior has not been seen. This coach house is part of a notable group of 18th and 19th century farm buildings and is depicted on the 1840 Tithe Map.
