Description
The terrace with piers, lamps, and parapets is located in front of the Municipal Buildings on Corporation Street. It features a rocky revetment wall with buttresses, which is divided by large piers that support elaborate bronze lamps with grotesque bases. An openwork stone parapet surrounds the paved terrace, which is accessed by two flights of stone steps. This structure likely dates from around 1902 and is an integral part of the Municipal Buildings. The listed buildings in Bath Place and Corporation Street, except for No 34 and the Dragon Book Shop and Wall, form a group.
