Description

No 9 on Middle Street is likely from the early 19th century. It is a two-storey building with a red brick front and an old tiled roof with eaves. The façade features three sash windows with thin glazing bars. The entrance has a Tuscan doorcase with an open pediment and a traceried fanlight above a six-panel door, which is accessed by two steps. This building is part of a good group of listed buildings on the south side of Middle Street, which includes Nos 15 Canon Street.
