Description

No. 9 Middle Street is an 18th-century, two-storey building made of red brick. It is connected to No. 10 by a brick wall. The building features a parapet and has three windows, which are sashes with glazing bars set in flush frames. The entrance is highlighted by a Tuscan doorcase that includes half-round pilasters, an open pediment, and a traceried fanlight above a six-panel door. This building, along with others on the south side of Middle Street, contributes to a cohesive group with Nos. 13 Canon Street.
