Description

No 33 is a corner building dating from the early 19th century. It has two storeys and is constructed of painted brick. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, featuring eaves. Plain pilasters flank the front, and the central section of the building projects slightly forward. There is a blind round-headed arch on the first floor, with two sash windows that have thin glazing bars. The central doorway is set in a projecting surround and features a recessed six-panel door. This building is part of a good group of listed buildings on the south side of Middle Street, along with Nos 13 Canon Street.
