Description
The Manse is an early 19th-century manse associated with the Baptist Church. It features roughcast over rubble and has an asbestos slate roof, which is half hipped on the right side where it adjoins the Baptist Church. There is a brick stack on the left gable end. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The first floor has two-light, many-paned casement windows, while the ground floor has two similar windows flanking the entrance, which is a partly glazed door set within a 20th-century glazed porch. The left return gable end, which faces the road, has 12-pane sash windows on both the ground and first floors. Wick House, located to the right, and The Manse to the left create two sides of the forecourt for the Baptist Church, which is enclosed by railings on the northwest side.
