Description
The structure consists of piers, a gate, and railings set in a dwarf wall that connects The Manse to Wick House and faces the forecourt of the Baptist Church. This feature dates from the early 19th century. The piers, which are located adjacent to The Manse on the right and Wick House on the left, are rendered with a grooved finish that resembles ashlar and topped with red sandstone chamfered caps. The railings are mounted on a low rendered dwarf wall, featuring urn standards, and the gate is reinforced with an arch and supported by a curved element. The entire structure measures approximately 8 meters in length.
