Description
Longleys Antiques Shop, which is immediately northeast of Colletts, is a house and shop built in the early 19th century. The building is rendered, ashlar-lined, and colourwashed, topped with a Welsh slate roof that features stepped coped gables and a brick chimney stack. It has two storeys and two bays. On the upper level, there are 12-pane sash windows. The shop front, added in the later 19th century, includes a two-light display window with triangular-headed lights and side pilasters, along with an angled return leading to a door on the right. This door, which has six fielded panels, is accessed by two steps and is set within a deep semi-circular arched recess with a plain surround, topped by a radially glazed fanlight. The interior has not been seen. The building is included in the register primarily for its group value.
