Description

This is an early 19th-century house and shop. It's constructed of brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a colourwashed exterior and a Welsh slate roof between coped gables. The building has two storeys and two bays. The upper floor has 12-pane sash windows in plain openings with painted stone sills. The ground floor features a 19th-century shopfront, divided into two sections. To the left is an angled bay with an angled fascia, decorative cornice moulding, and a flat roof. To the right, a 6-pane display window has side pilasters, a shallow fascia, a simple hood with end corbel brackets. Between the bays is a glazed entrance door with a plain surround and a nameboard above. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included on the heritage register primarily for its group and streetscape value.
