Description

This is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 15 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Mary. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of dressed stone. The tomb has sunk into the dunes on which the churchyard is situated. It features a moulded entablature and a hipped slab top that is moulded around its lower edge. This is all that was visible at the time of the re-survey in May 1984.
