Description

The structure consists of a bridge and the adjacent ruins of a wool drying tower, dating from the 18th century. The bridge features three semi-circular arches made of rubble, with two cutwaters positioned upstream. The ground is ramped up on both sides, supported by some rubble walls. The wool drying tower, which is two storeys high, has a missing roof and partially decayed walls, particularly on the southern side. There is a low segmental-headed archway in a niche that once formed a sluice to the river, but this is now blocked by rubble.
