Description

Glebe Farm House is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of random rubble with a double-Roman tile roof and brick-capped end stacks. The house has coped verges and a symmetrical frontage. It has two storeys and three bays, with paired narrow sash windows featuring glazing bars within edge-roll moulded stone surrounds. A similarly moulded stone mullion divides the bays. A central semi-circular headed window on the first floor has Gothick glazing bars and a matching stone surround. The central door opening is framed by bead-moulded stone, and contains a four-panelled door with the top two panels glazed. A single-storey, pent-roofed outshut extends from the left side. The rear of the building has a catslide roofline.
