Description

This is a house in a row, likely dating from the 18th century and altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of roughly cut and squared ham stone, with brick linings, and has a double Roman clay tiled roof with an east-facing abutment and a continuation to the west, featuring an ornamental terra-cotta ridge. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. It features sash windows: those on the first floor have 20 and 16 panes, while the lower window in the first bay has 16 larger panes and a slightly segmental-arched opening. A 20th-century door, set within a plain opening with a timber lintel, is located in the second bay. The interior was not inspected at the time of listing. The house is attached to numbers 46 and 47 to the east.
