Description
The Limbry monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 4 metres southeast of the porch of the Church of St Andrew. It dates from the 18th century and is made of Ham stone with Keinton stone slabs. The tomb features a moulded base, single-panel ends, and two-panel flanks adorned with swag decorations on the flanking pilasters. It has a deep rudimentary frieze and an almost flat top with rounded edges. The monument commemorates John Limbry, who died in 1757, as well as another individual who died in 1671.
