Description

Rock Cottage is a house from the early 19th century, built of coursed and dressed rubble. It features prominent pilasters on each side, a plain band at the first-floor level, and another plain band under the eaves. The house has dressed rubble stacks on the left and a slate roof. It is symmetrical in design, with two storeys and three bays. The windows are 16-pane sash types set in plain stone surrounds. The central door opening also has a similar stone surround and features a late 19th-century three-panelled door, with the top two panels glazed and a moulded hood supported by cut stone brackets.
