Description
Redbarn Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse constructed from Doulting rubble with dressed quoins. It features a clay pantile roof with coped verges and ashlar stacks. The building has a classical facade and a double pile plan, standing three storeys high with three bays. The ground and first floors have paired sash windows with glazing bars set in slightly moulded stone surrounds, which include a plain central mullion. The first floor also has a semi-circular headed sash window with an emphasised keystone at the centre. Small sash windows with vertical glazing bars are located under the eaves. The central door opening is framed by a similarly moulded surround and has a moulded stone slab hood supported by cut stone brackets. The door itself is a six-panelled design, with the top two panels being glazed. There are 20th-century additions to the left and right of the farmhouse that are not of interest.
