Description

This is an early 17th-century farmhouse, originally known as Maed House. It is constructed of random rubble with a stone slate roof, featuring two low rubble ridge stacks and a prominent attic gable on the right side of the front facade. The house has two storeys and attics, with a three-bay layout. It has three-light stone-mullioned windows with ovolo moulding, each with stopped labels. A single hollow-moulded stone-mullioned window is located on the left side of the first floor. A door opening is situated between the first and second bays, currently containing a 20th-century six-panelled door within a gabled rubble porch. The porch has a stone tiled roof and a four-centred head to its outer door opening. A single-storey, pent-roofed outshut with a pantile roof is situated on the right side of the building.
