Description
Dunston Cottage and Toll Cottage are two cottages that date from the 18th century, with alterations from the 19th century. They are constructed from coursed and squared rubble and feature a triple Roman tile roof with coped verges. The buildings have three brick ridge stacks, with the one on the left set on a projecting rubble base. The cottages are two storeys high and have a symmetrical facade with two sets of two bays. The windows are 3-light casements set in cement surrounds. There are two door openings, also in similar surrounds, which contain 20th-century half-glazed doors. The cottages are included in the listing primarily for their group value.
