Description
Mulberry Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with significant alterations in the 19th century. It has a roughcast exterior and a pantile roof, hipped on the return front to Church Street. Two brick stacks are present. The main frontage is at a right angle to Church Street, and it is a single-story building with an attic, featuring two bays. The ground floor has sash windows, while the first floor has two-light casements with glazing bars in gabled half dormers. A central door opening is present, with a plank door and a 19th-century gabled “half-timbered” porch. A single-story glazed conservatory, at a right angle to the frontage, is not of special interest and is included primarily for its group value.
