Description
To the west of the Abbey grounds, there is a section of wall with railings and piers along Magdalene Street, likely built in the late 19th century. The wall stands approximately 6 feet high and is constructed of ashlar stone with a coping. It is divided by three piers that have pointed tops. The central section features a low wall, about 2 feet high, topped with wrought-iron railings that have a spike motif. At the southern end, there are double wrought-iron gates and an additional pier in front of Abbot's Leigh House. This wall, along with Abbot's Leigh House and the Abbot's Kitchen, forms a cohesive group.
