Description
No 16 on Magdalene Street is a stable block that likely dates from the mid-19th century and has been altered since then. The building is arranged in three parts and runs west along a passage at the rear of No 16a. It stands two storeys high, with a red brick ground floor and an upper floor that is black-boarded and jetties out on joists with curved ends. The roof is covered with pantiles. The upper floor features a mix of windows, including a pair of casements with some glazing bars. To the right, there is a loading door, while the ground floor has a variety of modern windows and half-glazed doors.
