Description
Charcroft Farmhouse, also known as Chargrove Farmhouse, is an 18th-century farmhouse located in South Brewham. It is constructed from local stone with Bath stone ashlar dressings, all of which are colour washed. The roof is made of plain clay tiles and features coped gables, with a hipped projection, and there are brick chimney stacks at each end. The building has an "L" plan and is two storeys high, comprising five bays, with the first bay projecting outward. The windows are 16-pane sash windows set in plain reveals, and there is a six-panelled door in a plain opening located in the fourth bay. There are various single-storey additions on the northwest and southeast sides and at the rear, most of which date from the 20th century. The interior has not been seen.
