Description

Hookgate Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed from local stone rubble. It features a plain clay tile roof with a stone ridge and plain gables, along with brick end chimney stacks. The building has an "L" plan and stands two storeys high with three bays, where the first bay projects as a gable. The second and third bays contain 16-pane sash windows. There is a 20th-century lean-to porch with a plain door attached to bay two. The interior has not been seen.
