Description
Pillinge Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1800. It is constructed of local stone rubble with plain ashlar dressings and features a double plain clay tile roof with plain gables and rendered chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays. The 12-pane sash windows have plain surrounds, with the ground floor featuring doubled windows. The central doorway is adorned with Doric flat pilasters and a six-panel door, although the hood is missing. The east side of the farmhouse is rendered, and there is a two-bay extension to the west that is lower, with casement windows below and sash windows above. The main elevation is repeated at the rear, where the surrounds are flat with coves and beading, featuring triple keystones and a fanlight above the door. The interior has not been seen.
