Description
This is a 25-metre long rubble wall located along Dye Lane in Oakhill, dating from around 1830. The wall features recessed mortar that gives it the appearance of being laid dry. Its length undulates due to the presence of nine piers, with a bay between each pier, creating the look of shallow grottos. There are two pointed arch door openings, each with a chamfered wooden door frame, although both openings are currently blocked.
