Description

No 9 is a house and shop dating from around 1800. It is constructed of Doulting Limestone rubble with freestone details and has a slate roof with coped verges and brick stacks. The ground floor features an arcaded design, which is now glazed. The building has three storeys and five bays, with flush-mounted sash windows that include glazing bars. The centre window on the first floor has a semi-circular head. There is a square-headed doorway in a stone surround located on the left return. This building is primarily noted for its group value within the area.
