Description

No 10 Market Place is a house and shop dating from around 1600. It features a timber-framed structure with a lath and plaster front and a slate roof that has a coped verge. The building is three stories tall with an attic and consists of two bays. The late 19th-century shop front includes a central glazed and recessed door. Above the ground floor, there is a dentil and moulded cornice supported by scrolled brackets. The first floor has a rectangular oriel bay with glazing bars, while the second floor is fitted with wood casement windows.
