Description
Nos 1A and 2 Wesley Slope were built around 1863 and designed by architect W J Willcox, showcasing a Gothick style with an asymmetrical design. The buildings are constructed of rubble with a tiled roof featuring crested ridges. No 1A is a single-storey structure that projects forward and consists of 2 bays. It has a gable on the left side with an arched, sub-divided window that includes a foiled oculus. To the right, there is a 3-light window with a simplified shaped surround and a mullion. Access to No 1A is from the left side of No 2.
No 2 is a two-storey building with 3 bays and features two gables. The left gable is lower and has an arched window with two flat-headed lights and an oculus. The taller right gable includes two lancet windows and an oculus, with an angled bay below. There is a central porch with a lean-to roof that contains the original door. To the left of the door, there is a lancet window in a splayed reveal, separated from the door to No 1A by a squat column. The right side has a 2 bay return.
