Description

Wayside Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of random rubble with a pantile roof and features end brick stacks. The facade is symmetrical, with two storeys and three bays. It has narrow sash windows with glazing bars, each set in plain stone surrounds and flanked by a pair of louvred decorative shutters. The central door opening is also in a moulded stone surround and contains a late 19th century two-panelled door with a transom light above.
