Description

Blackford Cottage is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble with a hipped slate roof and has end brick stacks. The building is symmetrical, standing two storeys high with three bays, featuring 12-pane sash windows that have brick surrounds and brick voussoirs. The central door opening contains a six-panelled door topped by a fanlight with radiating glazing bars.
