Description
These are a pair of late 18th-century gates and gate piers belonging to Sunnydale Farmhouse. The piers are relatively low and rendered to resemble ashlar blocks, with hipped stone caps. The paired gates are made of wrought and cast iron, featuring a cambered top rail, an urn finial on each side, and a palmette in the centre. A late 18th-century brass plaque is fixed to the left gate, bearing the name "Duckett."
