Description

The Ferns is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with some remnants of render, topped by a slate roof with coped verges and end brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and features three bays with flush mounted 12-pane sash windows that have exposed sash boxes. The central door opening contains a six-panelled door. At the rear, there is a semi-circular head stair-light with ornamental leaded lights.
