Description

Batcombe Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse with 20th-century window features on its front. The building is rendered with a slate roof and has wide eaves and end brick stacks. It features a projecting two-storey rubble porch with a coped gable and an elaborate finial on the front. The symmetrical facade has three storeys and two bays, with three-light transomed wooden casements, except for the three-light ovolo-moulded wooden mullioned windows on the first floor of the porch, which have leaded lights. The central door opening is recessed and features a studded and ribbed door set in an ovolo-moulded wooden surround.
