Description
Chapel View consists of two attached cottages, dating from the 18th century with some alterations from the 19th century. The cottages are built of coursed rubble and feature a double Roman tile roof, along with two brick stacks and one ashlar stack. They are two storeys high and have a symmetrical facade with two bays on each side.
No. 1, located on the left, has 4-pane sash windows set in freestone surrounds, and a central door opening also framed in freestone, which features a 6-panelled door with the top two panels being glazed. No. 2, on the right, has two and three-light stone-mullioned windows and a central door opening with a plank door.
