Description

The Robert family monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 30 meters north of the north porch of the Church of St Nicholas. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of Ham stone. The tomb features a ledger top with a moulded cornice and plinth, and it has canted ends on the east and west sides. The north and south sides are divided by fluted Ionic pilasters. Inscriptions on the south and west sides commemorate members of the Robert family, with the date 1762 visible on the east front. The top of the monument is damaged.
