Stable block with clock tower and associated buildings. c1860. Local lias stone squared and boasted, lias and Ham stone dressings; hipped Welsh slate roofs; stone chimney stacks. U-plan around courtyard; single-storey with some attics. In a free style. Centre block has west elevation of 6 bays with raised section bays 3 and 4 and clock tower bay 2. Plinth, band course, dentilled eaves course to centre portion; segmental arched casement windows in chunky keystoned surrounds, attic window bay 3 only; bay 4 has tall semi-circular through archway: clock tower twice height of centre block, with clock faces south and west set in pedimented panels of non-classical form; ogee conoid roof with cast iron finial. Return wings on east side to match, developing into open sheds, with link wall enclosing courtyard. No interiors seen. Linked by wing walls to Somerton Randle (qv) and house attached on east side to Somerton Randle (qv) with which it has group value.
