Description
No 19 is a semi-detached cottage dating from the 18th century. It features a ham stone ashlar facade, with coursed rubble on the sides and rear, and a Welsh slate roof between stepped coped gables. The cottage has two storeys and three bays. The outer bays contain rectangular-leaded casement windows of an early design, with three lights above and four lights below. These windows have iron-framed opening lights with curved stays. There is a 20th-century leaded steel single-light window in the upper part of the second bay, and below it, there is a boarded door with a glazed panel set in a plain opening.
Attached to the north gable is a single-storey building with a double Roman clay tile roof, which is now plain and has several blocked openings. The interior has not been seen. Approximately 3 meters to the east, there are wrought iron railings with necked points on a low stone wall, which have returns to the sides and a timber gate opposite the door. These railings contribute to the setting of the house and the overall streetscape.
