Description

No. 5 Northload Street is an early 19th-century building featuring stucco over earlier fabric. It has two storeys, with the upper storey slightly overhanging. The roof is covered with pantiles, and there are eaves. On the first floor, there are two sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor includes a 16th or early 17th-century stone mullioned window with four lights and a hoodmould. To the left, there is a modern shop front and doorcase. Nos. 5 to 9 (odd) and Marchant's Buildings are part of a group.
