Description
Sharon Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates back to the 17th century, with some later alterations. It features a roughcast exterior and a pantile roof, along with two brick chimneys. The building has a distinctly curved frontage that follows the line of the lane. It is two storeys high and consists of four bays, with two and three-light casement windows that have horizontal glazing bars. The door opening is located in the third bay and contains a four-panelled door, with the top two panels being glazed. There are roughcast single-storey outshots on each side; the left outshot has a two-light casement and a door opening with a divided plank door, while the right outshot is blank. Inside, the farmhouse features chamfered exposed ceiling beams and ingle-nook fireplaces with large wooden bressumers.
