Description

Walnut Tree Cottage is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century that has been altered. The building is rendered with a pantile roof and features brick end chimneys along with a large central stack. It stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical arrangement of windows, typically two sets of two windows and three light 19th-century casements. The doorway is located off-centre to the left and has a battened door with a narrow overlight above it. At the rear, there is a cross passage door that has a stopped ovolo surround and heavy studding. Above this door is a three-light ovolo mullioned window, and adjacent to it is a lean-to that features a 19th-century studded door.
