ST 45 NW WINSCOMBE STATION ROAD Sandford 3/25 Goods shed to former Sandford Station

G.V. II Factory formerly goods shed. 1869. Francis Fox, engineer to the Bristol and Exeter Railway Company. Snecked rubble. Single track, broad gauge, goods shed. Single storey. 2 massive keyed arches in north and south gables. One blank, one open for tracks. Central circular louvres above. To north, obscured by later offices and extensions. 3 large round headed windows with exiguous venetian cast iron tracery in keyed openings with springers in west (track side) elevation. Eastern elevation has very large similarly dressed round headed wagon entrance under projecting eaves, flanked by windows as at west.
