Description

The gatepiers at Towerhead House date from the late 17th century to the early 18th century and are constructed of ashlar stone. They consist of two square piers set on low moulded plinths, topped with a moulded cornice. Each pier is surmounted by a very large ball finial that rests on a moulded and chamfered base.
