Description
The Baptist Chapel, schoolroom, and boundary railings were built in 1841, as indicated by an incised stone plaque. The chapel is roughcast with a hipped slate roof and has a gabled schoolroom attached at right angles to the right side. The chapel's front features a semi-circular door opening with paired plank doors beneath a stone "portico" supported by two Tuscan columns and topped with a hipped slate roof and a moulded cornice. Each side of the chapel has two bays with semi-circular head windows that include glazing bars. The schoolroom has two bays with flush-mounted 12-pane sash windows. Inside, there is a galleried area with 19th-century pews and a pulpit. A section of railings extends from the right side of the schoolroom along the right side of the chapel, forming a boundary with the graveyard.
