Description

Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, possibly with an earlier core. It features irregularly bonded brickwork and timber framing, topped with a thatched roof that has brick stacks along the ridge on the left and behind the ridge on the right. The building is one and a half storeys tall with irregular window arrangements. It has 2, 3, and 4-light 19th-century casements with horizontal glazing bars, some of which still show remnants of earlier timber surrounds. There is a 20th-century plain casement located to the right of the center. The entrance is through a plank door in an open gabled porch that forms a lobby entry. Inside, notable features include exposed chamfered beams.
