ST3308 CHURCH STREET 756-1/4/18 (West side) 29/07/76 Group of 5 chest tombs approx 15m east-south-east of corner of Parish Church (Formerly Listed as: CHURCH STREET (West side) Tomb Chests and War Memorial in the Parish Church churchyard)

5 chest tombs. Early to late C18. Limestone. Farthest to SE is early/mid C18 and totally ivy clad. The second approx 4m NE of the first is late C18; hipped top with moulded edges, reeded pilasters to long sides and raised and fielded panels to all sides. The third, approx 2m north of the second is early C18 with very shallow hipped top and deeply raised and fielded panels. The fourth, early C18, has hipped top with moulded edges and fluted Ionic pilasters to middle of long sides and corners. The fifth, early C18, has shallow hipped top and probably has fluted pilasters obscured by ivy.
