Description

This is a group of three chest tombs located approximately 35 metres to the north-west of the Parish Church. The tombs date from the 17th and 18th centuries and are made of limestone. The northernmost tomb is from the 17th century and features a flat top with bevelled edges, while its sides have plain recessed semi-circular arched panels, with two on the long sides and one on the ends. The two mid to late 18th century chest tombs have hipped tops with moulded edges and plinths, raised and fielded panels, and pilasters on the long sides that have three panels. The tomb on the left has four 19th century bronze plaques attached.
