Description
The walls and railings located to the east and south of Chard Manor Farmhouse date back to the 18th century. They are constructed from limestone rubble and flint, featuring Ham Hill stone coping at the front and north of the house. The wall to the north is of varying height and connects to the rear right of the Church Room. A Ham Hill stone plinth at the front supports low spearhead railings. There is a double gable opposite the door and a single gate leading to the cottage on the left. Adjacent to that gate is a lower rubble-stone wall without coping, which encloses the garden and connects to the corner of the left cottage.
