Description
Culverhay Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on Culverhay Lane in Wiveliscombe. The building is constructed from random rubble red sandstone and features a double span Welsh slate roof with deep eaves and brick stacks. It stands two storeys high and has three bays, with sash windows that include glazing bars set in rusticated surrounds. The central entrance has a 20th-century door and is flanked by a 20th-century gabled glazed porch, which is accessed by steps. The property is enclosed by a random rubble wall topped with coping stones, and there are square brick gate piers with stone caps that support a wooden gate leading to the drive.
